Pilates

We offer personal training and Pilates classes for clients who are interested in improving their current level of fitness. We work with people of all ages and stages of fitness. Since we are a rehab facility, we are specifically trained to work with clients who have had short or long term injury or illness. We can work with clients who are just coming from rehab to professional athletes who want to improve their performance.   We provide a safe environment to address each client's fitness and wellness needs.

Our Unique Approach includes:

  • Core strengthening is the centerpiece to all of our programs. You will learn how to initiate movement from your core muscles so that your arms and legs can move freely on a very stable spine. This will allow you to make permanent changes in your posture and the way you move.
  • Quality first! Since we are rehab based, our sessions focus on proper body mechanics and correct muscle activation during each exercise. We will closely supervise you to ensure optimal form throughout your time with us.
  • Small classes matter to our clients! We have a limit of 7 clients per class for all of our classes. Learning is easy and fun in a small group setting.

Personal Training Services:   One of our certified personal trainers will meet with you initially to perform a fitness screen and then work with you to create your personal fitness goals. We use many small accessories in our training program such as sports cords, foam rollers and Swiss Balls to complement our Pilates Allegro Reformers and treadmill.  

We emphasize correct posture, core control and correct body mechanics so that you can safely meet your fitness goals. Our focus in on education and empowerment, so that you can transfer what you learn with us into your daily life activities. Home exercise instruction is included in all of our personal training and fitness services.

Pilates Allegro Reformer Classes:

Pilates is an exercise approach that focuses on body awareness and control. We use the Pilates Allegro Reformer for all of our classes and private Pilates sessions. In this way, we can safely teach you how to correctly perform each exercise.

We are following Joseph Pilates Authentic Method, that is we use the Pilates Reformers and other equipment during the rehab process. The equipment allows us to train the core muscles effectively and with no to low pain. We also add gentle home exercises to our rehab program.

Unfortunately, most of the Pilates programs offered in the community are mat Pilates classes, and these are the most advanced exercises of the Pilates Method. In essence, people are training in ÒreverseÓ of how Joseph Pilates intended his method to be taught! Using our equipment allows our clients to reap the maximum benefits of the Pilates Method.

The benefits of Pilates include:

  • Building strength without adding excess muscle bulk
  • Improving flexibility, coordination and balance
  • Creating core strength, that is strengthening the abdominal, pelvic, hip, buttocks and upper trunk and low back muscles.
  • Correcting old postural patterns and replacing them with more efficient ways to move the body
  • Preventing and treating osteoporosis.

Pilates can transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. It is safe for every body!

Types of Instruction Offered

Classes:   We offer Pilates Allegro Reformer classes. There will never be more than 7 people in each class. If you have not been one of our rehab clients, prior to entering a Pilates Allegro Reformer class you will need to come in for a 30-minute fitness screen. You may need to have several sessions of private instruction to prepare you for entry into our classes.Call us for a current schedule of classes!

Semi-Private Instruction: We offer semi-private classes on our Pilates Allegro Reformers. Two or three people who are at the same level of experience may participate in semi private classes.

Private Instruction: We offer private instruction for both our Pilates and Personal Training sessions. A private session is comprehensive and tailored to our individual needs. We especially recommend private sessions for clients with chronic health concerns. We will assist you in achieving easy and pain-free movement.

Pricing

30-Minute Fitness Screen: $25.00

Pilates Allegro Classes: $17.00 per class, if you register for two classes per week: $16.00 per class

Private Pilates Allegro Session: $55.00 per session

Five Private Pilates Allegro Sessions: $250.00 if paid in advance

Ten Private Pilates Allegro Sessions: $450.00 if paid in advance

Pilates Allegro Duet Sessions: $28.00 per person

Pilates Allegro Trio Sessions: $20.00 per person

Personal Training Session: $55.00 per session

Five Personal Training Sessions: $250.00 if paid in advance

Ten Personal Training Sessions: $450.00 if paid in advance

We also offer pricing incentives for 6 months and one year Personal Training and/or Class commitments. Please inquire!
